Vacuum Degassing Fabric Filters

The Airotech Environmental Vacuum Degassing Filter is a super-premium quality, heavy industrial filtration device designed for service in the steel industry. The filter is available in multiple sizes, configurations and designs to accommodate the varying sizes of VTD’s.

The Vacuum Degassing Filter features construction of welded A36 steel plate meant to withstand vacuum down to 760 torr of negative operating pressure. Filters are available with or without an integral cyclonic spark arrestor at the inlet. The cleaning system utilizes high quality 1½” controlled air consumption diaphragm “pulse” valves that yield efficient, high performance. Coupling these valves to 1½” Variable-Orifice Manifold pipes and a digital timer assures maximum cleaning efficiencyof the filtration media.This means longer filter life and less down time for maintenance.Each filterisshipped shop assembledto the maximum extent possible to allowfor easy field erection.

The Vacuum DegassingFilter is available in larger Bag/Cageconfigurations as well as more compact Pleated Filter Elementdesigns.Filtration medias are available to handle applications with gas temperatures up to 500°F.
